Medical Study - Tea may decrease risk of ovarian cancer

The study reviewed here was published in December of 2005 in the Archives of Internal Medicine titled, "Tea Consumption and Ovarian Cancer Risk in a Population-based Cohort". The results indicate that drinking 2-3 cups of black or green tea per day can significantly reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.

The study tracked 61,000 people for 15 years. It found that women who drank two or more cups of tea per day (black or green) reduced their risk of ovarian cancer by 46%. Even more amazing, each additional cup consumed per day further reduced the risk by 18%.
