Description: *
Margarets Hope Darjeeling Tea. Full-leaf second flush Indian black tea from the Margaret's Hope Estate in Darjeeling, FTGFOP1 grade.
The Margarets Hope estate gets its name from a tragic story of a father's grief. A tea owner was visiting his estate in the early 1900s with his daughter, Margaret. She was so infatuated with the place, she vowed to return one day and spend her life on the estate.
Tragically, on the voyage home, she fell ill and died at sea. Her father named the estate Margarets Hope in memory of his daughter and her dream.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until boiling. Steep for 3-4 minutes.

"While I could tell the quality was very good, it did not have as much flavor as I had expected from reading other reviews. "

"I have been spoiled with Puttabong of late, but this tea is quite good as well. It is noticeably more assertive than the former, but is definitely worth a try! "

Very flowerly

"This is probably a good tea for those who like flowery teas - but I much prefer the Castleton Darjeeling. I bought this one because the Castleton was no longer available, but I see that it's back so I'll stock up.
If you like flowery tea, then you'll probably like this Darjeeling."

"This is staple for me. My preferred Darjeeling. This tea has noticeable fruity aroma and flavor. THis tea falls on the lighter side of black tea strength. Highly recommended."

"I just received this tea and it has a lovely, fruity flavor. I prefer it with sugar and no milk, so as to enjoy the color too. "
