Too sweet.

"It was a pretty mellow flavor, considering how strong the cherry smelled when I opened the pouch. If you were a fan of really sweet tea, or liked a sweet iced tea, this would be more for you.."

"Like the green cherry tea, this one smells rather strong, but mellows out when brewed. It is great with some sweetener, and also makes a lovely iced tea."

"A good black fruit tea although the cherry does come through a bit strong and tends to over power the tea taste a touch, its not as well balanced as most of the other teas I have tried. Could use a bit of work to balance it out. It is better on the second brew as the cherry is not as strong. Definitely no need for sugar or sweetener of any variety with this tea."

"It's hard not to be deceived by this tea's very potent, and almost medicinal, smell. Thankfully, it mellows out considerably once you brew it. I preferred this one iced, and mixed with a black vanilla tea and sweetener. As a hot tea, you can really enhance that cherry flavor if you breathe/oxygenate while sipping. As a fruit tea, it comes to life more than others I've had when using that technique. "

Bad Flavoring

"From the minute I opened the package and smelled the tea, I thought "oh no, Robitussin". It has that same low quality cherry taste; although its slightly less pronounced when chilled. I love cherries, but maybe I just don't like artificial cherry flavoring."

CHERRIES!

"I got this as a free sample in my order...I don't usually like fruit teas, but this one smelled so yummy in the bag that I had to try it! WOW! This really tastes like cherries...ripe,dark red, sweet cherries...and good, strong black tea! It's good with milk and just a little bit of sugar, as it's already very sweet on its own!"
