Description: *
Keemun Panda #1 Tea. Tastewise, Keemun Panda #1 is considered matchless, a flavor that almost sings. Its fragrance, known throughout the world as "Keemun aroma" is deep and complex, often compared to burgundy wine.
Qimen county only produced green tea until the late 1800's. Then a young official in the county lost his job and began to reflect on his life.
"A skill is a better guarantor of a living than precarious officialdom", his father had always told him.
And thus he gave up his life as an official and entered the most acclaimed schools of tea. A natural at the craft, he introduced new and sometimes radical ideas to his peers. The culmination of his efforts was the tea that has become known as Keemun. Its fame quickly spread beyond even China throughout the world markets achieving at last in 1915 international awards at the Panama Exposition, beating out even the famed Darjeelings.
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water
until boiling. Steep for 3 minutes. Try with
milk and sugar.

"Quite a distinctive flavor and aroma. It was a bit unexpected and I'm still not sure if I like it, but I will def finish what I have!"

"It has a very distinctive flavor. I’d recommend a sample first if you’ve never tried this one before.
You’ll know after the first cup if it goes to the top of your list or not. "

"This is my new "everyday" tea. The aroma and flavor are wonderful; strong but not excessively so. Follow the preparation instructions carefully... over-steeping this one is a real no-no. I usually get 3 infusions from 1 tsp. "

"This is a good black tea. The flavor is rich - not one I would drink alot of during the day but it is still very nice."
