White Chocolate Vanilla Mate Tea. Roasted Yerba Mate with a white chocolate and vanilla flavor.
* Contains milk products and nuts. *
Ingredients: roasted Yerba Mate, coca kernels, flavoring, white chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder, dextrose, emulsifier lecithin), crocant bits (sugar, hazelnut), vanilla bits.
Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until boiling. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Try with milk and sugar.

"i've been trying coffee alternatives. i love strong tea -apricot is a fave, but sometimes want a coffee-type taste.
there's a new "teeccino" which is yummy but messes up my south beach diet with cravings.
THIS yummy MATE is sooooo good it is just what i wanted. tastes like liquid dessert and MATE doesn't make me eat more.
i do find i am more energized with mate than with coffee, so if you are an insomniac, don't drink after 3-4 pm. there are no "caffeine jitters" - just a wonderful feeling of not being tired without an icky buzz.
flavor is soo good - you'd better buy some NOW before they run out again!"

"I just received this tea in my first shipment from Dragonwater, ever. It was the first I brewed, due to the heavenly aroma when I opened the bag. I was not disappointed. It is, to me, a very smooth, almost roasted flavor, and is reminiscent of hot cocoa. I can definitely taste the vanilla. I think this will be a great alternative to my beloved hot chocolate..but healthier and with less calorie guilt!"

"Thought I'd try this as an alternative to coffee. However, it doesn't taste anything like coffee (or white chocolate for that matter). I've tried under brewing, over brewing, and in between, but all I get is a strong bitter taste to a very earthy, almost dirt-like taste with none of the buzz of coffee."

"I love the Green Yerba Mate, and the roasted Mate - but this blend was WAY to sweet for me. It smells DIVINE (if you like white chocolate ofcourse) but it's too sweet for me to brew alone.....if I add just a tiny bit too my roasted mate -then it makes a yummy cup. If you like sweet coffee drinks, or really sweet ice cream flavors then you will LOVE this tea. It's a great blend, I just like things on the mild side...."

"The coffee comparisons for this mate are fair, but I happen to think that this blend has much more flvor. I'm not the coffee-averse type, but I really only take it black - never with sugar or milk. Unlike my coffee preferences, this mate screams for sugar. And it has much more flavor than most coffees. My favorite mate that I've ever had."

"I ordered this along with the plain roasted mate, and found myself in heaven. I liked the plain version well enough -- coffee drinker, here -- and this white chocolate vanilla one is even better. I don't even need sugar; I put my favorite flavored coffee creamer in it and I'm good to go. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful product."

"I really liked this one. It reminded me of something from my childhood. Chocolate Malt-O-Meal :-) Yum!! It is a little more coffee like than some Mates, it does not have the "fresh green" taste that the lemon one does, however if you like coffee and dark teas I feel you will greatly enjoy this tea."

"The flavor of this tea is astoundingly delicious. I had previously drank plain green mate quite regularly. But now that i have tried this i don't think i could go back. Try it with milk and honey for a desert like treat with a kick. "

"I'm a huge Mate fan, especially those that are wonderfully flavored. I have ordered from another company for the past few years, and they have two flavored Mate's that are suberb. I thought I would give this one a try and was quite disappointed. The flavor is weak at best. "

"When I opened the sample pouch, I immediately smelled the white chocolate, with hints of coffee scent. I was worried, then, and my fears were founded when I brewed my first cup, and tried a sip. I think the yerba mate tastes very much like coffee, and the only thing that got me through half a cup was the chocolate undertones. I tossed the rest, and gave the remainder of the sample to my mom - an avid flavored coffee drinker. I bet she'll like it a lot.
I suppose I could get used to it eventually, but with so many delicious "real" teas out there, I won't be trying another yerba mate drink anytime soon. "

"This is okay alone, but mixed with vanilla-hazelnut or almond (herbal) tea, it's quite good. I've also mixed it with chai blends and (Teeccino) Maya Chai. When I brew it as a stand-alone drink, I add sweetener only, but when I mix it (as mentioned earlier), I find it especially tasty with milk. "
