"I get the impression this tea would be much better as a cold-brewed iced tea. The strawberry flavoring is artificial and all but disappears from the brewed liquor, and the tea base is quite sharp for a white. The strawberry flavoring and the tea itself are extremely sensitive to excessive heat and steep time. I used steaming water and steeped for three minutes the first time, and still I ended up with a bitter, astringent cup. The second time I used cooler water (about 140-150 degrees) and it came out only slightly better. If you're looking for a superb fruit-flavored white tea, I recommend the melon instead. This one just didn't work for me."

"I must be doing something wrong with my steeping, b/c I didn't really care for this at all. I received a sample of this tea, and in the few times I tried it I was barely able to scoop out one strawberry from the mix that I received. I admit I must have steeped it too long the first time, but the second time it was too sharp of a taste even though I steeped it for half the time. I don't find this smooth at all, which I look for first in a tea. I guess I'm just not a white tea fan. "

"this is lovely. made me wish i had more appreciation for green and white teas.
i tend to put the green teas in with black as "medicinal" and not drink on their own.
so will try to be more creative.... i loved the pretty strawberry slices in this."

"Did not try this hot but it was very good iced. Not overpowering on the strawberry taste but just right. Will buy this again for iced tea and might give it to my kids in their lunchboxes instead of fruit juice which provides too much sugar( although I added a tad of sugar to the tea to enhance the flavor) "

"This tea seemed very strong, almost bitter for my expectation of a white tea. The strawberry flavor wasn't prevalent as I expected. I may try to dilute as other reviewer suggested. Very pricey."

"This tea is great and doesn't have that artificial strawberry taste like others i've had. Very nice."

"This is a great light tea. I find that sometimes with the first infusion the strawberry overpowers the white tea but by the second infusion the flavors are well balanced."

"This tea is a wonderful mixture of light strawberry taste to accent the light white tea taste. It would be a great spring time tea!"

"This delicious white tea was given to me as a gift. Hints of strawberry floral notees combined with just the right amount of acidity make this a wonderfully refreshing tea during the spring and summer, or sit back and eagerly await the spring thaw during winter. Perfect all year round."

"When i brewed it hot as recommended, i found the tea to be much stronger than other white teas not from Dragonwater and the strawberry taste was either overpowered or nonexistent. When I diluted the same cup down by 1/2 and chilled it, however, the tea was delicious and sweet with a great strawberry flavor. Will order again for this purpose."
