bitter, awful.

"I had great hopes for this tea based on the reviews, but maybe I'm just a tea snob - I typically get my teas direct from Asia while traveling, but someone recommended this as a good substitute for when I run out. I love a good lavender earl grey, and this is most definitely NOT a good one. After following directions provided, it yielded an overpoweringly bitter, cheap-tasting tea that was definitely not worth the cost. There was no aroma of bergamot, and the lavender was completely out of balance. Just to make sure I hadn't messed up and that it wasn't my own fault, I started over with the brewing process from scratch, and again it was just awful.
I'm not sure what their markup is on this but it must be immense. I'd say skip it. "

"After getting hooked on the taste of lavender a few years ago I've tried countless things containing it, to both bad and good outcomes. This is a good one, the lavender and bergamot compliment each other really well."

"This is a very strong, unique flavor and is fantastic on its own or combined with Earl Grey de la Creme which is my favorite way to drink them both."

"Strong tea, and the lavender can tend to overpower if steeped too long. A little honey levels this tea out well. Wonderful breakfast tea."

"If you need a soothing Earl Grey, this is it. It's aroma therapy and caffeine in a cup. The lavender adds a nice sweet taste too. A staple for me."

"I really like this tea, it has a very unique flavor, I for the most part don't care for earl grey, but with the lavender it it just wonderful, I have found that I add a pinch more to a 8oz tea cup, I have glass ones that have glass infusers with slits cut in the bottom of them. so I put a teaspoon and a little more of the tea and ad a pinch more of lavender, and two pinches of Stevia Leaf. It is just grea "

"I am not terribly fond of this tea on its own, however, mixing it with Earl Grey de la Creme is wonderful (plus a little milk & sugar). On its own, I added a lot of milk & sugar to make it taste okay but then it was really too sweet for my taste. The de la Creme addition is perfect for making it not cloying and I can enjoy the lavender now."

"This is a unique flavor. In the UK they use lavender as a flavoring but here in the US I don’t see it very often. The lavender is quite strong, but it blends well with the bergamot. It’s a nice, out of the ordinary flavor. Hint, hint: I would love to see it as a decaf because lavender is so soothing before bed! "

"Earl Grey has always been a favorite of mine. I love the fruity fragrance of bergamont oil, add lavender and prepare for heaven! It's so rich in flavor, but no stronger than any other Earl Grey. It's a perfect balance of fruity, flowery, and rich tea! Try it, you'll love it!"

"I might have used a bit too much, because tasting this plain was a little strong. But with milk and sugar, a delightful, pungeant warming tea that I really enjoyed."

"This is a medium-bodied lavender Earl Grey. It is smooth, with no astringency, but is just a bit too "watery." I'd prefer a stronger-bodied tea. "

"It took a cup or two to get used to the mellow Earl Grey Lavender. (I'm used to the Earl Grey Double Shot.) This is a very subtle, calming tea... a smooth way to start your morning... or a relaxing way to end your day."

"A relaxing take on my favorite tea. The lavender is not overwhelming and is complimentary to the bergamot in the earl grey. A very nice variation on the original!"
