Rooibos Spicy Chai Tea. Not your typical American chai, this hot and spicy Rooibos blend stays true to its Indian roots.
Ingredients: rooibos tea, aniseed, ginger pieces, black pepper, cardamom seed, cinnamon pieces, cloves, flavoring.
Must be enjoyed with milk which cuts the spiciness and creates a wonderfully aromatic and tasty drink.
Use 1-2 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until boiling. Steep for 7-10 minutes. Add milk and sugar to taste.
Rooibos comes from the South African Red Bush (Aspalanthus linearis) an contains high levels of antioxidants, calcium, manganese, magnesium, and fluoride. It has been used to treat depression, insomnia, digestive problems, hay fever, and asthma. Rooibos is naturally caffeine free.

"I loved this tea! It was my free sample with my order. I definately plan on getting a full size order of this one. You can taste the black pepper but it's overpowering. This is a great winter-time tea to drink before bedtime."

"I have had some of the best chai tea in Australia, and even on that was a wet chai, and I can't stand those syrup infusions that many tea houses like to use in the US. This is a great spicy chai tea, just open the packet and it invokes a swirl of memories. I use it for my chai latte, and as with a proper latte I froth the milk on the espresso machine, to blend it with the chai tea, so glad I found this one as I was just trying to bring in the tea from Australia."
