Description: *
1000 Day Flower Tea. Handmade Chinese green tea woven into a small ball with a flower bud in the center.
Painstakingly handmade tea that blossoms into a flower when infused with a real flower bud in the center. Considered both a green and white tea due to its light cup and delicate, slightly sweet flavor. A must try.
Ingredients: green tea, flowers.
Use 1 ball per 6-10 oz glass. Heat water until steaming. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Leave in cup. Add water as needed. Good for multiple infusions.
The comparison chart below indicates the number of cups based on 2.25g of tea per serving (the standard definition of a cup of tea). Each ball weighs approximately 7g. For planning purposes assume 4 balls per ounce or 64 balls per pound. Weight of each ball varies so this is only a guideline. Teas are sold by weight only.

"This is the type of tea you just whip out on any day in your clear glass teapot and brew all day long. Each cup tastes slightly different, but no cup is bitter. the perfect white tea, in form and taste."

" This tea was fun to watch like every one else said it expands and the leaves connect to the flower. I steeped it for 5 min the first time was a little week then the second cup i steeped for 6 min and was even better. I liked how it was a light taste and not to strong. Id be buying some of this tea in the near future :) "

"i love to watch these, and they are variable. right now drinking a gift flower tea that is so blah... 1000 flower is specially lovely and enjoyable.
i do like the first cup. by the 2nd steep the petals look kinda ratty and fall apart, and i wouldn't advise a 3rd steeping. "

"This is a great tea to use at parties instead of lemon water or other light, sweet drinks. It need nothing added and let it brew the entire time. And, it's amazing just all to yourself - brew it over and over again all day long. I keep it in my cup. Please make sure you have a clear mug for the flower teas, as they are a visual pleasure as well as a scent and taste pleasure."

"The beauty of watching the first cup with the flower blooming is an experience like no other. The tea is delicious. I would order another $100.00 worth if I didn’t have all of these other teas to try."

"Beautiful tea. Not only is it lovely to see as it blooms it also has a a lovely taste. The tea taste could have been overpowered by the flower however it is not. The tea taste comes through clean and clear. The flower pairs nicely with the tea. It has a beautiful presentation, show this tea off, entertain with it and get the WOW from everyone!"

"What a beautiful presentation. My co-workers stood by to watch the flower 'bloom'. Very, very mild/light taste. Recommend steeping longer than 5 minutes, though."

It's ok, but the flavor could be better

"This tea produces a relatively weak cup in my opinion. The leaves are primarily on the outside of the blossom, with the inside consisting primarily of stems. I think this contributes to a somewhat grassy flavor, which detracts from the delicate white tea flavor. However, in terms of presentation, this tea is absolutely wonderful. I brewed this in a clear tea pot to watch the flower unfold, and it was truly beautiful. I think this is a nice tea for entertaining guests, but not for everyday cuppage. "

"This tea is great as a conversation piece, and looks very impressive in a glass. However, the taste, while not unpleasant, was unimpressive. I might serve this to guests as a novelty, but I would probably discretely mix in a flavored honey just to spice up the flavor."

Nice White Tea

"The flower presentation was a nice touch. Probably not the best white tea I had, but it was still very nice. Yes, the flavor is subtle, and that's what white tea is supposed to be."
