Description: *
Leopard Snow Buds Tea. This rare "Origin" tea has been grown from the same plants on the same ground using the same methods for over 100 years earning it the coveted Origin Tea classification in China. A tea so good it has remained unchanged while the world around it saw occupation, revolution, and war. With this tea, you can taste the same cup that the reigning Emperors of Imperial China enjoyed, long before the war with Japan, the world wars, or the rise of communism.
The light green leaf is open with silvery-white tips and the taste is tender and full of character.
Subject to global limited availability.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming. Steep for 4 minutes.

In love with it

"One taste, one sniff and I was in love with this tea. Now I am just waiting for it to be in stock in quantity I can buy. Hopefully it won't be outrageously expensive but at this point I'm almost willing to pay any price for it. Just have it in stock.
the taste of it was surprisingly strong for a white tea, clean and beautifully smooth. No bitterness with a lovely color. One of the cleanest tasting teas I have tried."

"Although my taste does not usually run to white teas, I REALLY enjoyed this. I plan on having some around as a change of pace from my usual Keemuns and Wu-longs."

"Made a very smooth, pale cup of tea with a faint grassy taste (not unpleasant), with no aftertaste. Very nice"
