"Young Hyson is a green tea that tastes like a green tea should. It was exactly what I was hoping for and I plan on purchasing some in the future."

Bitter End

"My first impression of this tea is that it is very easy to over brew, and becomes quite bitter. The over all flavor is very earthy and natural this i like, but i'm still trying to get the mixure right to curb it's bitter end. "

"This is definitely my favorite of the "young" leaf teas. I could easily be happy enough drinking this on a daily basis without needing an occasional substitute."

"I like this tea every so often. Its a light, unique tasting tea. It smells faintly of hay, but fresher, which adds to the pleasant taste."

"I have been hooked on green tea for over 8 years now, and I love it. Because of where I work, I can drink tea all day long. I usually drink 3-10 cups a day. I always try different kinds of green tea, but young hyson is my favorite. Young hyson has a light to medium taste with a fresh spring smell. I will always enjoy my cup of young hyson green tea."

Reordered

"I tried a small quantity of this cheap tea and didn't like it. It tasted like hay. In the process of finishing off what I had ordered I began to like it. Since I like the smell of hay and since it's inexpensive I reordered a large quantity. You may like this tea for a change of pace which is the way I drink it. "

"Young Hyson is a fairly bland tea, but I was able to get a friend hooked on driking tea for that very reason. He was initially put-off by green tea. The blandness provided him nothing to dislike, and now he had grown accustom to tea."
