Description: *
Stevia Leaf Tea. Stevia leaf (Stevia rebaudiana).
Stevia is an herbal sweetener with no calories and no carbs, and is much sweeter than sugar. It can be used to increase recovery from cold or flu, and can help reduce alcohol and tobacco cravings. If added to toothpaste or mouthwash, it reduces cavities and gum disease.

"Ok if you don't drink sugar in your teas then the directions of a two pinches it quite enough for any of your concoctions you might want a sweet taste added to. because let me tell you you will taste it. if your like my daughter then you will have to add more and then a little sweetener to set it off. But it does work great. "

"I can't tell any difference with the stevia leaf, that is until I add a teaspoon of sugar, then I can taste the sweetness. At least I use alot less sugar now."

"I don't use this as a solo tea but it's a wonderful substitute for sugar/honey. It goes amazingly well in mate, rooibos, herbal teas and black teas. I, however, like my oolong, green and white teas straight, without sweetener. I highly recommend you try this as a sweetener for other teas. "

Stevia in the raw!

"I've been a fan of stevia forever...of the white powdered version in little packets, so I was excited to find this stevia in its pure green leaf form. It was hard to get used to the leaf stevia at first; it kind of had a "tobacco-like" aftertaste. But after some adapting and adjusting of the amounts, I prefer it much better than its refined white counterparts. It's not only more natural, but it's also much less expensive than the packets or bulk stevia. I found it is most effective to layer it in the tea ball. First, just put a pinch in the bottom of the tea ball, then your chosen tea, then one more pinch on top; this will sweeten it through and through. It is also good by itself, but definitely better added to other teas. I love it with organic rooibos and try this for a treat: a pinch of stevia followed by the recommended amount of rooibos, a pinch of organic peppermint, and a final pinch of stevia. Add milk. An antioxidant / stomach soothing masterpiece in a cup! :-)

"This stuff is great! Stevia doesn't affect my glucose levels like sugar. Just a pinch goes a long way.....it's great. Don't use too much or it will taste bitter. I really love it with Green Yerba Mate. The leaf taste way better than the powder versions!"

"This is the greatest stuff on earth! If you have a sweet tooth then take note. The uses for this expand far beyond tea. I never use sugar with my teas, instead I put in a bit of this in the infuser and couldnt be happier!"

"anyone looking to cut out sugar or those aweful artifical sweeteners needs to look no further. a pinch of stevia leaf in the infuser is the equivalent of two teaspoons of sugar"

"I love this stuff... Just brew it with your tea and it is sweet as can be. Not too sweet but just perfect. So much better than sugar, tea wise..."

"I and my 13 year old son love the stevia. It has a unique taste not as green tasting as I expected. My son chews little pieces of it plain and loves the taste. I mix it with my other loose teas to sweeten them up. Thanks for a great tea."

"I find I use more than what the others recommend, but I like my teas sweeter. My usual blend is 1:1 with a mint. I'm starting to add it to other teas (like Earl Gray de la Creme and Green & Black Paradise) as I brew instead of adding sugar afterward. For me, there's a delay between drinking the tea and tasting the sweetness so I have a few seconds of just the tea taste. Also great by itself."

"I like to put a pinch of stevia in my white osmanthus tea to help sweeten it a little. It is also nice to suck on a small pinch of stevia like chewing tobacco."

"Stevia is very sweet, but doesn't seem to mix well with everything, as it has a bit of a taste, other than just being sweet, of its own."

"This really is very sweet, so you only need a pinch of this. It is best brewed with other teas - especially yerba mate as it brings out the flavor. It is also meant to help increase the added health benefits of the tea too. "
