"Wow! This has all the oil of bergamot you could ever want, and then some. This is fabulous if you like your tea with a bit more milk than most, but don't want to loose the flavor of the tea."

"Wow, with this tea, less is more. I love Earl Grey tea and as long as you love Earl Grey you will truly love this one. It takes Earl Grey to the extreme. Although if your just starting out with Earl Grey tea start out with something else. This is not a beginners tea. "

"This tea is wonderful. I was suspicious before trying it. I was worried that the bergamot would be too strong. My fears were totally unfounded; the blend is perfect. Being a lover of Earl Grey, I was so pleased."

Bergamot city!

"I got this as a sample with my first order. As others have said, it has a very powerful bergamot punch, but I could even take a triple shot! I would also recommend adding bergamot to a stronger-bodied tea like Irish Breakfast. It seems the more bergamot there is in a tea, the more pungent it tastes (almost like grapefruit). But no problems; I liked it better than "Earl Grey de la Creme." "Double shot" is a tea for the "Earl Grey" fanatic! Those new to "Earl Grey" should try this blend first and if you can handle it, this may be "your" tea. If you don't like it, go for the "Earl Grey de la Creme." I will try the "Earl Grey Lavender" next! :-)

"This tea is great--but you have to be in the mood. It's not terribly subtle--but if you want a cup of Earl Grey, and you really mean it, you will be so pleased. Never had one so distinct before."

"This one is for the true tea lover. Strong bergamut flavour. I had been looking for a tea like this for years. It is very fragrant but not overpowering. It has a clean finish and a nice after taste. If you like earl grey you will definetely fall in love with this."

"This is a nice tea with an extra dose of bergamot. Not for those who are opposed to a tea that's a but perfumey, but you can always adjust the strength of the tea by steeping it for a shorter or longer time. I think I'll enjoy this on an occasional basis."

An Earl Grey I'll Actually Drink
|

"I'm not an Earl Grey fan by nature, but I received this one as a sample with my first order and decided to try it out.
In short? I love it. I'm a huge fan of tart flavors, and the bergamot in this is perfect. It's more of a kick than most Earl Grey -- hence the "double shot" -- but at the same time not overpowering. An exquisite blend."

"WAY too much bergamot for our liking, to the point of being overpowering, but was a real hit with the person I gave the rest of my sample to. In short, you had better really like the flavor of bergamot to appreciate this tea."

"I am beseiged by neighbors who have sampled my previous purchase of Earl Grey Double shot. It is, "The best tea they have ever tasted. "Remarkable."
"Never had any tea so good." Four of my neighbors are in their eighties, so they have been tasting teas longer than many of us. Their requests have increased my next order to four pounds, and I hope that will be enough."

"The double shot Earl Grey has a wonderful, strong bergamot fragrance. It brews strong very quickly; a little goes a long way. Great tea in the morning. Better value and flavor than your regular grocery store Earl Grey."
