Rooibos Chocolate Mint Tea. Rooibos with chocolate pieces and
peppermint leaves.
Ingredients: Rooitea, peppermint, chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa powder, emulsifier lecithin),flavoring.
Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water
until boiling. Steep for 7-10 minutes. Try with
sugar.
Rooibos comes from the South African Red Bush (Aspalanthus linearis) an contains high levels of antioxidants, calcium, manganese, magnesium, and fluoride. It has been used to treat depression, insomnia, digestive problems, hay fever, and asthma. Rooibos is naturally caffeine free.

"This tea was overpoweringly minty and I could barely detect the chocolate or rooibos flavors. As far as mint teas go, however, it is fairly good and I will finish the sample. I won't be buying any more."

"I do enjoy a choc mint tea, and I found that with this one, I generally drink it during the day, I found the mint more on the stronger side than the chocolate, so the balance was not quite there, so I need to shake my tea frequently so that the mint gets well distributed. Saying that this has become my day time drinking tea and its good."

"This is not something I would usually get(not being a fan of chocolate), but I received it as a sample. It is actually quite tasty and something I would order again. The mint really jumps out at me in this, which I really love. It smells amazing too!"

"I have tried other brands of chocolate mint rooibos and they had a chemical flavor so I was a bit afraid to try this, but this tea won me over. No chemical flavor, and the mint really comes through."

"This tea was very minty and tea-y, but not much in the way of chocolate. Even though it wasn't as chocolate as I would have liked, it doesn't change the fact that it was a very good tea (and one I will drink often!)"

"I like to have a cup of this before bed the mint chocolate just makes it easier to get ready for bed. I would suggest putting just a tad of sugar in it to bring out the chocolate a little better so the mint doens't over power it. "

"This tea has such a pleasant mint and a slight chocolate aroma when dry!!! SO Yummy ! Once it is brewed it holds it's aroma but not as stong as when dry. It is a gentle taste. I used sugar in mine and would recommend."

"I like this because I like chocolate mint. But, I also like Rooibos, which has a distinct flavor. In this blend, the Rooibos gets lost in chocolate mint. Mixing this 2:1 with straight Rooibos to Rooibos chocolate mint yields a more balanced flavor."
