Green Cherry Tea. Japanese green Sencha tea, cherries, and cherry flavoring. A classic japanese tea. Great iced! Was called Japanese Cherry.
Ingredients: green tea, cherries, and flavoring.
Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water
until steaming. Steep for 2 minutes. Great iced.
Also available in our convenient 1 oz Iced Tea Pouches to make 2 quarts of tea (4 pouches per package to make 2 gallons or 8 quarts of tea). Select the 'Iced Tea (4)' option. To brew iced tea, add 1 iced tea pouch to 1 quart of boiling water. Steep for the time listed. Pour tea over a 2 quart pitcher full of ice. Add sugar to taste. |

"While the tea is nice and tastes good sweet, it has a very strong cherry taste. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, if you want more of a green tea flavor, this probably won't do. It's better for i you want something fruity. Great for people who love cherries."

"This tea has a very overwhelming cherry scent at first, but the actual tea is much milder. Whereas the cherry flavoring seems to taste a bit artificial, overall I enjoyed it. Wouldn't buy again, but I'll probably drink the rest of it."

"This tea has a lovely cherry flavor that doesn't cover the green tea taste. It is just right. Cherry can sometimes come across almost "soapy" or "medicine" in flavor it has the perfect balance."

"I have to agree that the scent of the cherries is stronger than the taste, but anything stronger would have overpowered the beautiful green tea! It is just lovely to drink. A little touch of honey makes it nice and sweet for the times you want something sweet."

"This tea has a very strong cherry scent before brewing, almost to the point of being overpowering. However, the taste is absolutely wonderful and is especially good for those new to green teas. It also makes lovely iced tea with a bit of sweetener - a summertime favorite at my house. "

"This tea had too much of an artifical cherry flavor for me. I was glad it was a sample and would keep it around for those times when I have nothing else to drink or want a BIG change. It is ok. Not a favorite. Maybe I need to use a shorter steeping time if that is possible."

"this tea tastes fine once I'm actually drinking it. But the strong cough syrup smell I really dislike. The obviously artficial scent is odd paired with an otherwise decent green tea. I like real cherries, just not the fake flavor. This came as a sample with my last order."

"I must admit that I am still developing a taste for Green Teas, but I found this one enjoyable. It does have a strong sweet aroma that could be overwhelming for some, but that's okay, as I enjoy the scent of cherries anyway. But that strong aroma did not carry over to a strong taste...while you can taste the cherries in this tea, it's a subtle pleasant addition which does not overtake the refreshing flowery mild flavor. While this may not rank as a top favorite, Japanese Cherry is a tea I would order on occasion and recommend to others, especially if you do like cherries! "
