***** yummy! 01/29/2008 18:18
"This is among one of my favorite teas. I'm just a big cherry tea fan! It's great hot or iced!"

***** Delicious but artificial 01/15/2008 07:54
"Take out some of the artificial cherry, and you've got yourself an even better tea...as it is, though, it is pretty good, very strong cherry taste, mild sencha."

"Very sweet and tastes a bit like cherry Luden's (which I luv!)"

***** very...cherry 01/06/2008 16:35
"While the tea is nice and tastes good sweet, it has a very strong cherry taste. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, if you want more of a green tea flavor, this probably won't do. It's better for i you want something fruity. Great for people who love cherries."

***** overwhelming at first 12/17/2007 12:56
"This tea has a very overwhelming cherry scent at first, but the actual tea is much milder. Whereas the cherry flavoring seems to taste a bit artificial, overall I enjoyed it. Wouldn't buy again, but I'll probably drink the rest of it."

"This tea has a lovely cherry flavor that doesn't cover the green tea taste. It is just right. Cherry can sometimes come across almost "soapy" or "medicine" in flavor it has the perfect balance."

"I have to agree that the scent of the cherries is stronger than the taste, but anything stronger would have overpowered the beautiful green tea! It is just lovely to drink. A little touch of honey makes it nice and sweet for the times you want something sweet."

***** Strong scent, but good 09/28/2007 08:26
"This tea has a very strong cherry scent before brewing, almost to the point of being overpowering. However, the taste is absolutely wonderful and is especially good for those new to green teas. It also makes lovely iced tea with a bit of sweetener - a summertime favorite at my house. "

***** Great stuff 08/10/2007 20:54
"The cherry flavor of this tea is quite enjoyable. The caffeine is low enough so as to not dominate your life, but gives you a boost."

"I agree with the previous reviewers that this tea smells and tastes like the cherry is a bit on the artificial side."

***** Great scent, great taste, loved it. 05/29/2007 02:19
"It has a very strong cherry scent to it, it complements the flavor of the tea immensely. I felt that although this tea tasted natural. I found it to be very enjoyable to drink after a nice dinner at home."

"I also feel that this tea had an artificial cherry taste. I was a bit disappointed. I usually like my tea hot without sugar or milk but with this tea I prefer it cold with some honey."

***** ok 11/21/2006 07:43
"This tea had too much of an artifical cherry flavor for me. I was glad it was a sample and would keep it around for those times when I have nothing else to drink or want a BIG change. It is ok. Not a favorite. Maybe I need to use a shorter steeping time if that is possible."

***** Great Aroma and Taste 11/07/2006 11:34
"I thought this tea was great. Tried it both iced and hot. Seemed to have almost a floral undertone, but that could just be me."

***** To be fair... 10/07/2006 15:44
"this tea tastes fine once I'm actually drinking it. But the strong cough syrup smell I really dislike. The obviously artficial scent is odd paired with an otherwise decent green tea. I like real cherries, just not the fake flavor. This came as a sample with my last order."

***** loved this tea 09/25/2006 05:30
"I recieved a sample of this from a friend, and this tea got me into liking green tea. at first, I had to have it with sugar, but after a while, i realized it tasted even more wonderful without it!"

***** Good for a non-green tea drinker. 08/11/2006 22:11
"I normally do not care for gren tea, but after reading the reviews for this tea, I decided to try it, I am glad I did. It has a great refreshing taste. It is not my favorite tea, but as far as a green tea goes, for me, this tea is near the top of the list."

***** STRONG AROMA, REFRESHING TASTE 07/21/2006 04:51
"I must admit that I am still developing a taste for Green Teas, but I found this one enjoyable. It does have a strong sweet aroma that could be overwhelming for some, but that's okay, as I enjoy the scent of cherries anyway. But that strong aroma did not carry over to a strong taste...while you can taste the cherries in this tea, it's a subtle pleasant addition which does not overtake the refreshing flowery mild flavor. While this may not rank as a top favorite, Japanese Cherry is a tea I would order on occasion and recommend to others, especially if you do like cherries! "
