A traditional english tea, earl grey tea is made by combining quality black teas with the essential oil of the bergamot fruit, an orange-like fruit grown in the Mediterranean. This tea is named after the earl, Charles Grey from 19th century England. Earl Grey learned the recipe from the Chinese.
