1. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, Diner's Card, Discover, Mastercard and Visa through our website. We also accept a Check or Money Order through our mail-in option. Use the regular checkout process on the website and select the "Pay by Check" option. Mail orders are subject to availability of teas ordered when the order form is received. You will be contacted if any issues should arise.
2. Is this site secure?
We use 128 bit encryption for all communication between your browser and our website. In addition, all our credit card handling is in compliance with Visa's CISP security standard, one of the toughest security standards in the industry.
3. Can I contact you by phone?
No, we no longer offer phone support. You can reach us by chat on our website or by email, sales@dragonwater.com.
3. What if I don't like the tea I ordered?
We want you to be completely satisfied with each and every order you make here at Dragonwater. To that end, we will happily refund or credit you for the price of any item returned (shipping is not refundable). Return the item to us along with the original receipt. If you do not have the receipt, write your name, address, phone number and reason for return on a piece of paper and include with your return. You do not need to contact us before returning your items. Howver, if the item is broken, you must contact us. Do not return broken items. This voids our insurance (if any) and causes unnecessary delay. All returns of fragile items must be insured. Send returns to

4. Is the tea loose-leaf or in tea bags?
We do not sell tea in teabags. All of our teas are the highest quality loose-leaf teas we can find. We do offer loose-leaf tea bags that you can fill yourself.
5. Do I need to buy any accessories to enjoy the tea?
Because our teas are mostly provided loose-leaf (a few are packaged in our pyramid-shaped teabags), you will need a way to infuse the tea. This can be as simple as letting the teas settle to the bottom of your cup, but the majority of people use a ball or mesh infuser (made of metal with holes to let the water in), a mug with a builtin infuser (such as our Jenaer Glass mugs), or our loose-leaf tea bags (an open-ended bag you fill yourself).
6. How many cups of tea does 1/4 lb make? 1 lb?
The number of cups of tea that can be made from a given quantity of leaves varies with the tea, but in general, 1/4 lb size will make 70 cups of tea. 1/2 lb makes 140 cups of tea and 1 lb makes 280 cups. With green, white and some herbal teas, you can make multiple cups from a single serving of leaves. Double or triple the amount of cups if you use multiple infusions.
7. What teas have caffeine?
All of our black, green, oolong, and white teas have caffeine. In addition, the exotic Mate teas have caffeine (more than regular tea). Our herbal and Rooibos teas do not have caffeine.
8. How are the teas packaged?
All our teas are sold in airtight foil bags with a resealable ziplock seal.
9. Do you have a catalog?
Our inventory is always growing, which makes a print catalog difficult and expensive to keep current. Our website is always up-to-date and acts as our catalog.
10. Why do you want my email address?
We use email as our primary form of contact. All order confirmations and shipping confirmations are sent via email. We also send a monthly newsletter, as well as sales and specials we may have going on. These occur about once a month. We promise to not disclose or sell your email to any third parties, ever.
11. Can I fax in my order?
Yes, you can fax your order to us. Just write down the name, quantity and price of each item on a piece of paper along with your payment information (credit card number, expiration date, name on card) and shipping address. Please also indicate whether you would like us to add shipping charges automatically or contact you with the final total before we ship the order. 12. How does free shipping work?
All orders with a subtotal (not including shipping) of $75 or more qualifies for free shipping. Free shipping orders are sent by Fedex Ground or USPS Priorty Mail, our choice. Faster shipping methods will still be available for a charge if you need it sooner.
13. What are Dragon Dollars?
Dragon Dollars are our way of saying thank you. They are our form of reward points that you earn on every order you place with us. Dragon Dollars are used like cash to pay for your order during the checkout process. They are good for anything on our website except for shipping charges.
15. How do I earn Dragon Dollars by linking to dragonwater.com?
You can earn up to $5 by linking from your website to dragonwater.com, subject to the following rules:
- You must be the owner or maintainer of the website linked from.
- The website must pass editorial review. We reserve the right to deny participation in the program to any website we deem inapproriate.
- Limit one reward per website.
